Hailing from Zara, Croatia, Raika D says that at an early age she began dressing her dolls in her own original designs. Her love of fashion followed her through her youth, but she made academics a priority and moved to Milan to complete her studies. After graduation, she obtained a job in a department store; fashion, however, was her passion, and at the age of 24 she moved to Capri, where she developed a knitwear line. In 2002, Raika D was launched. Since its inception, the label - described as for a refined but youthful woman -- has become available in more than 480 stores worldwide. Raika will be making her debut in New York during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.
