You may have heard the very depressing news — Colette Roussaux’s pioneering boutique, Colette, will be closing in December. After 20 years, the lifestyle-cum-fashion-boutique (which, along with Milan’s 10 Corso Como and New York’s Opening Ceremony, was considered a forerunner of the concept store) will be making way for, most likely, a Saint Laurent boutique in 2018. Colette’s been called the “world’s trendiest store,” but more than that, we’ll miss its left-of-center point of view — cool, yes, but also droll and democratic in its idea of stuff worth celebrating (like $5 temporary tattoos next to high fashion). Fans will have one last chance this summer for a new Colette collab, when the brand debuts a collection with H&M in August. Below, we’ve rounded up some of the best Colette collaborations to buy while you still can. (Note that prices below exclude tax.)
Or, if you prefer, a blue lip balm that turns pink on application.
