From its cool-guy-approved crewnecks to Best in Class jeans, Abercrombie has had something of a renaissance over the past couple of years. (As our friends at the Cut noted: “The Abercrombie brand, once an easy cultural punching bag, now brings in more revenue than it did when it dominated teen culture in the aughts.”) If you’ve been curious about the Abercrombiessaince, now is a good time to see what the buzz is about: Everything on the site is at least 25 percent off. Sale highlights include a few wool-blend coats and cozy waffle tees for more than 50 percent off, plus a slew of other standout deals on women’s and men’s clothing — all of which I’ve rounded up below. And if you’re still hungry for more deals, you can sign up for our daily deals newsletter and never miss a sale again.
Women’s clothing and accessories
We’ve long lauded Abercrombie as a destination for actually petite jeans — specifically for the two petite-specific lengths offered: “extra-short” and “short.” You’ll find our favorite high-waisted jeans for petite women discounted in those lengths (and all the other ones, too).
Here’s an option for the wide-leg-inclined. I recommend pairing these with your UGGs (or fuggs).
There was a time when it was nearly impossible to find this goes-with-everything skort in stock. Now it’s on sale in a variety of sizes and colors — but don’t dillydilly as sizes are disappearing quickly.
I’d pair that mini-skort with this tee-style bodysuit (which also happens to be beloved by postgrads as an officewear staple).
Given the ongoing cold front, I have coats on the brain. Here’s a classic camel topcoat that’d look nice as nice over some jeans as it would with that Scarlett mini-skort and tights.
If you’re looking for a shorter coat, this one is just $60. The gray is a nice neutral, but the very non-brat olive green is appealing, too.
Every time I leave my apartment, it feels like I can’t escape faux-fur jackets. Leopard print, anyone?
Since this sherpa jacket is collarless, it’ll easily layer with your favorite scarves and turtlenecks.
I’m eyeing this trench coat for my spring wardrobe. As my colleague Brenley Goertzen says, “They’re one of the few outerwear pieces that can tie together practically any outfit while keeping wet and muddy elements out.”
At just $11, this tank is a steal. I’d buy two, so I could have one for sleeping and one for wearing out and about.
Speaking of sleeping, I found a variety of cozy staples in the loungewear department. These sweats are made of a blend of polyester and cotton, meaning they’ll be both durable and easy to care for.
Waffle tees and winter go hand and hand.
This oversize henley looks extremely cozy, too. It’s available in a few neutrals and an on-trend burgundy.
Men’s clothing and accessories
Over in the men’s section, there’s an abundance of deals on cold-weather essentials. When I interviewed stylish men about their favorite crewnecks, this one came up for its durability and versatility.
Here’s a hoodie made of that same easy-to-care-for blend of polyester and cotton. It may be designed for men, but it was the only thing my sister asked me to get her for Christmas last year.
Here are some baggy sweats to match. They’re available in three lengths — short, regular, and long — for anyone forever on the hunt for the Goldilocks of sweatpants. (They’d also make a great gift for a teenage boy.)
Flannel joggers with elasticized ankles seem pretty ideal for sleeping in when it’s absolutely freezing out (as in now).
A very good waffle tee, available in lots of wear-all-the-time neutrals.
This waffle henley looks like the perfect shirt for running errands, watching TV, and layering after a session at the gym.
I don’t think it’s possible to have enough white tees. This bona fide cotton option has regular and tall cuts available, so if you’re over six feet you won’t have to worry about it being too cropped.
There are a few standout markdowns on winter coats in the men’s section, too. At $100, this topcoat is a bargain, but it’s going quickly.
Here’s a shorter shirt jacket that you can wear well into the spring. I imagine it’d make a nice Valentine’s Day gift for the stylish boyfriend.
If you’re looking to expand your beanie collection or recently misplaced your favorite hat, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a deal better than this one. (Though our deals editor found some very discounted cozy contenders.)
