October Prime Day is here. To find the best deals in every category, follow all of our Prime Day coverage.
I’ve spent the past 30-plus hours digging through thousands of items on sale for October Prime Day. There are plenty of products that are worth your while, all of which I’ve been rounding up in my megalist of all the best October Prime Day deals (of which there are over 200). But here, I’ve pulled the top products that I think are the best of the best, whether that’s because they’re at their lowest price ever, they’re rarely on sale, or they’re just excellent products that I (or my fellow Strategist staffers) highly recommend.
The sale is winding down, and all deals end at 2:59 a.m. ET, so this is truly your last call. If nothing here catches your eye, check out the October Prime Day deals readers are buying for further inspiration. And to stay the know about all the best sales, Prime Day or otherwise, sign up for our Strategist Sales Alert newsletter.
Yesterday, this was the only Vitamix worth buying, since every other blender was only 10 to 15 percent off. Today, it’s still 30 percent off (when you buy it in red or white) …
… and our best-selling 5200 is also on sale for 40 percent off when you buy it in black. It looks like Amazon is inflating the listing price a bit, though, FYI.
I was sad that this Strategist favorite was only 14 percent off yesterday — but I needn’t have worried because today it’s half off, which is as cheap as it gets.
Our best overall shampoo is 20 percent off, and it won’t get cheaper.
After not repurchasing my favorite BB cream during July’s Prime Day, I immediately got it this time around since it’s the same price.
Laneige’s lip balms and lip masks are always popular with our readers during Prime Day. In the past they’ve usually been only 20 or 25 percent off, but right now they’re 30 percent off — the same price they were during the second day of Prime Day in July.
Twenty percent off is about as good a deal as you’ll get on Naturium’s products — and that’s normallyi only on the brand’s website, where you have to pay for shipping on orders under $40. So, this is a good time to try its retinol body lotion — with fast and free shipping.
I usually see our favorite body scrub for treating keratosis pilaris go on sale for twenty to twenty-five percent off, but most of the brand’s products are 30 percent off today. Grab a bottle before it sells out.
An immediate buy for me yesterday was this Mrs. Meyer’s hand soap, since I’ve seen scents sell out immediately in Prime Days past. Luckily, it’s still on sale today, but you should buy it quickly if you want it.
Just as we hoped, lots of Apple products are on sale for Prime Day — and the AirPods Pro are the cheapest they ever get. If you’re more of a headphones person, the AirPods Max are also a great deal at $395, which is about $150 off.
And for just over $200, you can get an Apple Watch with AppleCare.
There are hundreds (if not thousands) of toys on sale for October Prime Day with lots of unique ones in the mix. But if you’re not sure where to start, our toys writer suggests buying basic sets of building toys like Legos or Magna-Tiles because they grow with your child and keep them engaged for years.
This board that lets your child “paint” with light was one of the most popular products in our Prime Day gifts on sale roundup. It’s even cheaper today: 30 percent off instead of 20 percent off.
Normally Toniebox starter sets are $100 all by themselves, but today, for that same price, you can get this version that comes with four extra characters from the Spider-Verse.
My beloved Bose headphones went on sale for under $200 for the first time during July’s Prime Day. Right now, they’re back to the same price, and the discount applies to more colors this time around.
It’s not the deepest discount, but our best overall protein powder rarely goes on sale.
And here’s an even cheaper option that our fitness writer also approves.
It’s not officially Prime Day to me until I see these best-in-class teeth-whitening strips go on sale. They’re always 35 percent off, and they’re a always a reader best seller.
My plug-in bug zapper that eliminated all the little flies that invaded my house over the summer is 30 percent off. Highly recommend.
I update our roundup on the best vacuum sales every month, and this is the cheapest I’ve seen this handheld vacuum in a very long time.
I haven’t seen Dyson vacuums go on sale very often this past year, so this is a great deal. (Writer Erin Schwartz says Dysons are at “Facebook Marketplace prices.”)
Our former best overall vacuum, the V15 Detect, is nearly $200 off. Not that it’s no longer good — it’s still our top pick for small spaces.
This powerful little carpet cleaner is the best price I’ve ever seen it. Get it before the crumbs and spills of the holiday season begin.
If you’re already in holiday mode, a few of our favorite artificial Christmas trees are deeply discounted. This particular one comes recommended for its full, traditional look and its easy setup — and, now, for its very good price.
Purple rarely has sales these days, so I wouldn’t wait to buy this pillow — which just so happens to be one of our sleep writer’s favorites.
The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels.
