All the Best After-Christmas Deals: From Aritzia to Sephora

Photo-Illustration: The Strategist; Photos: Retailers

After weeks of scoping out gifts for your loved ones, I suggest you treat yourself to a little something (or more) from all the excellent post-Christmas (and New Year’s) sales. Like last year, a lot of the deals are on apparel, which is good news if you’re looking for that scarf you didn’t get from your wish list or a new pair of leggings to keep you motivated for your New Year’s resolutions. But there are post-Christmas deals in many other categories, too, including Strategist-approved cookware, indoor smart gardens, and even some bidets.

I’ve compiled all of the best after-Christmas sales that are still going strong in 2025 and organized them alphabetically. Many of them end sometime during the first week of January, so pay attention to end dates, and happy shopping!

Update on January 2, 2025: Added new sales and cut out-of-stock products. Updated prices and checked stock for all products.

Alex Mill

Alex Mill’s Cyber Monday sale had some deep discounts on sweaters and accessories, but its post-Christmas sale is even better. You can get up to 70 percent off select styles, which makes our best overall women’s sweater just $60 right now — it was $75 for Cyber Monday. There are lots of other good sweaters, beanies, and scarves in the mix, too. Note that you have to enter your email address to gain access to the sale.

Amazon

Items in every category — from tech to kitchen gear to clothing — are up to 40 percent off as part of Amazon’s Winter Sale, but some items are discounted even higher, like Beats headphones and a Shark robot vacuum for half off.

Anthropologie

Anthropologie’s sale section is full of some already-excellent deals, and the retailer is taking an extra 50 percent off for its end-of-season sale. We found great deals on dresses, pants, and home décor.

Aritzia

If you’re after winter wardrobe basics, head over to Aritzia. You can get up to 50 percent off cold-weather gear, including sweaters, puffers (like the famous Super Puff), and pants.

Article

Article’s New Year’s sale is a little better than its standard offering: Take up to 40 percent off select sofas, dining tables, bed frames, and other furniture.

Artifact Uprising

Artifact Uprising, which makes our favorite non-office-y wall calendars and customizable photo albums, is taking 15 percent off sitewide and 20 percent off items over $150 with code NEWYEAR.

Athleta

If you’re looking to swap out your worn-out leggings and sports bras, Athleta’s taking up to 60 percent off select apparel and accessories.

Babaà

Babaà makes some of our favorite heirloom-worthy sweaters, which rarely go on sale. The knits have landed on our Strategist writers’ wish lists and in our Best in Class guide to sweaters and are known for being made of high-quality natural materials that get softer with time. (Note that since the prices are listed in euros, prices shown here are approximations to U.S. dollars.)

Ban.do

Whether you’re in the market for 2025 planners, décor, or discounted Baggu, Ban.do is offering up to 50 percent off select regular-price items and an extra 35 percent off on-sale items with code GASP35.

Best Buy

There are truly hundreds of laptops, headphones, TVs, running watches, and vacuums on sale as part of Best Buy’s Ring in the New Year sale. Most of the discounts are fairly standard but still worth it if you held out on buying something earlier this year. The sale ends Tuesday.

Brooklinen

Brooklinen has treated us to many a sale this year, but its End of Year Sale includes some of the steepest discounts we’ve seen in months with up to 75 percent off sheets, towels, and blankets while supplies last. Below, I’ve included the best deals on some of our favorite sheets and our Best in Class duvet cover.

The Company Store

If you’re refreshing your bed and bath linens ahead of the New Year, the Company Store’s taking 30 percent off its entire site (with a few exceptions) and up to 55 percent off seasonal offerings.

Comrad

Comrad’s actually cute, Strategist-approved compression socks are all 30 percent off with the code NEWYEARTOAST.

Corridor

For its Boxing Day Sale, Corridor is offering discounts on apparel, including its knitwear, outerwear, pants, and tops. While the official sale says it’s offering up to 25 percent off, we found bigger discounts on some pieces, like these pleated corduroy trousers and this mohair cardigan — both currently over 40 percent off.

Design Within Reach

Through the end of the year, Design Within Reach is taking an extra 20 percent off already marked down items with code EXTRA20. It’s a great time to buy a big-ticket furniture item or cheap home décor from Hay.

Everlane

It’s called the “Sale of the Year,” and the deals fit the bill. Get up to 70 percent off select men’s and women’s styles, from $40 dresses you’ll be glad you stocked up on come May to $90 jackets you can still get plenty of use out of right now.

Free People

Over at Free People, take up to 75 percent off select sale items. That includes some nice-looking corduroys, cozy fleeces, and fuzzy beanies.

Glossier

A lot of our longtime beauty staples are up to 40 percent off at Glossier, including its highlighters, skin tints, and lip balms.

Hanna Andersson

Hanna Andersson’s adorable kids clothes are on sale for up to 60 percent off with an additional 20 percent off on clearance items with code GOINGFAST20. I suggest stocking up on matching holiday pajamas for next year or grabbing a few Valentine’s Day–themed layers.

Knickerbocker

Knickerbocker is having an end-of-year archive sale. The brand is offering steep discounts on warehouse items that go back to 2019 — some of them over half off, like this sweater-vest, cotton-linen overshirt, and merino-wool beanie. (In November, New York teamed up with Knickerbocker on a special collection of corner-store-themed apparel.)

L.L. Bean

Among stylists we’ve interviewed, L.L.Bean is known as a brand that lasts forever. While many of its “Biggest Sale of the Year” discounts are just okay, you’ll find some gems if you dig, including this toddler fleece for just $35.

Lululemon

After scouring Lululemon’s End of Year discount section, I can confidently say that anyone with an affinity for pink is in luck: You’ll find markdowns on hot, pastel, and jewel-toned pinks across Lululemon’s women’s section. That said, the markdowns are good — although fleeting in the size department — across all sections.

Macy’s

Macy’s is offering an extra 20 percent off its sale section through January 1. I sifted through deals galore and found some gems from Calvin Klein, Vince Camuto, and Michael Kors.

Madewell

Madewell’s after-Christmas sales are always very good. This year, you can take up to 60 percent off the sale section through January 8 with the code LASTCHANCE.

Maisonette

Maisonette is offering up to 70 percent off baby and kid clothes, toys, and accessories as part of its annual winter sale.

Nordstrom

Nordstrom’s Half-Yearly Sale actually kicked off on December 21, and it lasts all the way through January 6. Deals are particularly good for Skims staples and classic Uggs. Writer Kat Gillespie rounded up even more deals from the sale here.

Old Navy

Today only, Old Navy is discounting its entire athleisure line, so now’s the time to stock up on cozy sweats and surprisingly impressive performancewear.

Outdoor Voices

If you missed Outdoor Voice’s Black Friday sale, now is your chance to take up to 70 percent off OV Extra end-of-season styles. Sizes are going quickly, so don’t dillydally.

Reformation

Reformation’s Winter Sale started last week, but it’s full of good deals — up to half off select styles. Writer Ambar Pardilla rounded up all her favorite dresses, jeans, and sweaters from the sale here, if you want to shop more.

Ruggable

Take 20 percent off Ruggable’s washable rugs with code EOY24. They’re Best in Class for a reason (that reason being they make “cleaning up messes and grime in heavily trafficked areas much less annoying,” according to our rug expert Erin Schwartz).

Shopbop

You can get up to 60 percent off on Shopbop’s sale section. We spotted well-priced Ganni, Reformation, and sunglasses.

Walmart

If you buy anything from Walmart’s End of Year Sale, let it be some of the very discounted toys (your future self will thank you come the next birthday-party invitation). Other highlights include a large crop of slippers and layering essentials.

Wayfair

Wayfair’s end-of-year clearance sale has discounts on just about everything from your home — more than 50 percent off holiday-décor storage containers, up to half off kitchen and dining furniture, and up to 60 percent off rugs.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
