Sure, sales are an excellent time to snag that viral beauty product you’ve been eyeing or an off-season swimsuit. But when you’re browsing the discount bins, don’t overlook day-to-day essentials and things you regularly restock. Since there’s so much to sift through, I’ve found actually good deals on things like cleaning supplies, oral-care products, multivitamins, and more. Some of the below are things we’ve written about before — like one of our favorite carpet vacuums and laundry-stain removers — while others are just plain useful to have around the house. For the most part, I’ve limited this to discounts of at least 20 percent, but a few things are below that (because if you’re going to buy it anyway, even saving just $1 or $2 is good).
