Apparently, it’s Sleep Awareness Week — a week organized by the National Sleep Foundation to remind you that sleep is important to your health. I normally don’t really buy into holidays like these unless there are good deals to be found. And it turns out that this year, there are. Some of our favorite bedding, mattress, and pillow brands have marked down their sleep stuff in honor of the week. I went searching for the best of them and found a few dozen standout deals on Strategist-approved products, including several best-in-class pillows, linen bedding, and sleep masks. For the most part, I’ve only included items that are at least 20 percent off and from brands we’ve already written about, so you can rest assured the deals below are the best of the bunch.
Bedding
Everything is 25 percent off at Ettitude through Saturday night. One of our best sheet sets (especially for sweaty sleepers) is the brand’s cooling bamboo-Lyocell sheets, which earned a coveted spot in the Strategist Sleep 100.
Brooklinen is offering a tiered discount: Orders over $50 are 15 percent off, orders over $150 are 20 percent off, and orders over $300 are 25 percent off. For the best discount, I would suggest sticking to already-discounted bedding bundles, like this starter set of linen sheets for just over $200 (a discount of 36 percent, all told).
All bedding is at least 20 percent off for Schoolhouse’s “Spring Forward sale.” I’m eyeing these gingham sheets.
I also have been on the hunt for a nice lightweight quilt, and this is very pretty.
My favorite bedding brand, Coyuchi, is offering a tiered discount: Take 15 percent off orders over $250, 20 percent off orders over $500, and 25 percent off orders over $1,000. Since this lovely duvet cover is already on sale, that extra discount at checkout makes it 32 percent off.
Only two colors are on sale — the dark green pictured here and a light gray — but 30 percent is really the best discount we ever see on Parachute products.
Another pretty duvet cover (and one of our best-in-class picks). Senior editor Hilary Reid describes the stripes as “more like a very light, almost-blue-sage green” and a “lovely shade of periwinkle, which looks equally elegant and subdued as it does beachy.”
Pillows and mattresses
This two-pack of sleep writer Amelia Jerden’s No. 1 memory-foam pillow is nearly 70 percent off, making each just $27.50 apiece.
This low-loft pillow, which senior editor Crystal Martin says “supports my neck enough so it’s not dipping too far back,” is 20 percent off.
Turns out our favorite adjustable anti-snoring pillow is also quite cooling.
Jerden named this Coop squishy body pillow her top pick. “It’s easy to hold onto and snuggle into without sinking too much into the material,” she writes. “And because the fill is plush but dense, I can easily use it for support while sitting as well.”
Senior writer Liza Corsillo crowned this our best overall pregnancy pillow because of its versatility.
Corsillo brought this beanbag-like pillow to the hospital when she gave birth. It’s easy to twist and fold into different shapes and has a cooling slinky cotton-and-spandex cover, and Corsillo ended up using it as a backrest and nursing pillow once she returned home. (And she still uses it today!)
Jerden’s favorite mattress topper is over half off. It’s made with Tempur-Pedic’s signature foam, so it’s cushioning and supportive.
A nice discount on Casper’s ultrabasic mattress, the Element.
Sleep aids and accessories
Use the on-site coupon to take 20 percent off the lavender-scented stick that one writer calls “Ambien without the side effects.”
For an extra-restful snooze, I highly recommend this pillow mist. It’s formulated with lavender, chamomile, and vetiver essential oils. I’ve given it as a gift several times, and all agree it smells amazing.
The already well-priced Alpine Silence earplugs, our best overall pick for reusable sleep earplugs, is even cheaper today. They “check all the boxes I want for a reusable sleep earplug: They are unobtrusive, comfortable, reasonably priced, and effective at blocking noise,” Jerden says.
Frankie Grande’s favorite sleep mask, which he uses to snooze soundly on planes, is over 25 percent off.
Nearly 30 percent off a dentist-recommended over-the-counter mouth guard.
The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
