What the hell was Woody Allen thinking? No one expects him to write particularly convincing dialogue, but without even a single laugh in this crime drama about two brothers who take out a hit on a colleague of their uncle’s, the lines feel particularly forced. Kudos to Colin Farrell, who’s way more believable as Ewan McGregor’s loser sibling than he’ll ever be as a bronze god-hero. With any luck, Hollywood is taking notes.
