This week’s edition of Don’t Dillydally — our weekly dive into the new releases worth snatching up before they’re gone — is a bit of a grab bag, with sustainable-clothing launches from Reformation and Everlane, the revival of Scoop N.Y.C., and a couple of rock-star collaborations.
Lady Gaga’s Haus Laboratories at Amazon
Lady Gaga’s beauty line Haus Laboratories officially launched back in July, as part of Amazon Prime Day, but the preordered products have only started shipping out this week. And to celebrate this milestone, along with the fact that everything is fully shoppable, the brand debuted three new products, including this Liquid Eye-lie-ner, which is described as matte-r than matte and extremely black.
Madewell x Dickie’s
This collaboration between Madewell and Dickies leans a bit more workwear than fashion, with pieces like these thick, sturdy overalls made from duck cloth. But the more-fitted silhouettes and softer color palette (that blush-pink jumpsuit!) make everything feel a little more versatile without totally sacrificing function.
Classic navy trousers with a slightly higher hemline that’ll look good on pretty much anybody.
Everlane Glove Boot ReKnit
This new Glove Boot from Everlane has a similar shape as their Day Boot but is made with a recycled knit fabric rather than leather. This more flexible construction allows them to stretch as you move and promises to eliminate ankle gap.
Walmart x Scoop
It might seem like an odd couple, but Scoop’s collaboration with Walmart has a nice mix of basics, like this slouchy boyfriend blazer, and more trendy pieces, like this patterned peasant dress. (And none of it seems stuck in 2007.)
Parachute x A.L.C.
We’ve written extensively about Parachute’s linen bedsheets, and today, the home-goods brand is taking on silk in a new collection with A.L.C. There are no silk sheets, but there are silk pillowcases and an eye mask, as well as these (very giftable) blush-colored silk pajamas with contrasting silk piping.
Food52 Dinnerware
Food52 is launching its own dinnerware, part of its reader-driven in-house brand Five Two. If you’re willing to fully commit, you can get 20 percent off a 12-piece dinnerware set through September 25. But all of the neutral-toned, chip-proof plates, bowls, and serving platters are designed to mix and match, even with your existing pieces, which is nice for a little refresh.
Aden + Anais Harry Potter Blanket
These muslin blankets from Brooklyn-based Aden + Anais have a bit of a cult following, for being both incredibly soft and sturdy. And this delicate Harry Potter–themed print — Hedwig on one side, golden snitches on the other — is particularly enchanting.
Reformation’s Sustainable Denim
It’s fall, so Reformation is swapping out sustainable sundresses for sustainable jeans, with a bunch of very retro-inspired high-waisted cuts.
Arnette + Post Malone
Post Malone partnered with California-based (and Luxottica-owned) sunglasses brand Arnette on these signature “Posty” shades, available at Sunglass Hut. (Face tattoos not included … or required.)
Winter Adidas Sambas
Adidas has come out with a winterized version of its classic Samba sneakers. What that means is that these are waterproof and made of ballistic nylon.
