Everything Worth Buying at Reformation’s Summer Sale

A rare Reformation sale is afoot: Right now, styles are up to 70 percent off. (It’s an even better discount than the brand offers for Black Friday.) If you’ve been following the sale and holding out for deeper discounts at the end, now’s the time to check out — especially since lots of items are going quickly. Before you start opening up a thousand tabs, I did the deal hunting for you — I went through all the markdowns and rounded up what’s actually worth getting, including wedding-guest dresses that won’t have you second-guessing a dress code and last-vacation-before-the-end-of-summer wear (say, some beach-ready jean shorts). Although it’s officially branded as a “summer sale,” you’ll see things like a cashmere dress and a pair of best-in-class jeans here, too. You don’t want to dillydally; full-price Ref can go fast, and on-sale Ref goes much faster.

Dresses

A slinky silk dress for less than $150.

This dress is at a Poshmark-level price now, and it’s still stocked across all sizes.

All the comfort of a T-shirt dress but much cooler.

A wedding-guest dress you don’t have to buy a special-occasion bra for.

It’s very demure, as the kids say!

The most Ref-looking Ref dress ever.

The strappy back will show off your well-earned tan lines.

This looks like something someone would’ve scored at Paloma Elsesser’s closet sale.

It reminds me of the little black dress from Givenchy that Audrey Hepburn sauntered in in Sabrina.

Save for a special occasion (or just a nice dinner out).

A cutout and halter neck make for a skin-baring (and daring) mini.

Tops

A nice nod to a classic Hawaiian shirt.

An abstract animal print makes this button-down anything but boring.

It comes with the tank too. So technically you’re getting two tops for the price of one.

A great knit to get through False Fall.

You know how most vests come tailored? I like the oversize fit of this one much more.

A fitted blazer that doesn’t lean too far into “office siren.”

Bottoms

White Lotus star Meghann Fahy is a Cynthia-jean evangelist, saying “the jeans never stretch out too much or lose their shape.”

If you’re over cutoffs, these will hit right around mid-thigh.

Some shorts you can make a late-night bodega run in.

Not-too-lineny linen pants you can get away with wearing after Labor Day.

Another work pant if you have the Aritzia’s Effortless Pant in multiples. (It comes cropped too.)

An LBJ (little black jumpsuit) for those who have a lot of LBDs already.

Importantly, it comes with pockets.

Upgrade your satin skirt to a charmeuse one.

Shoes

Good news: Reformation sells Vejas. Great news: You can get Campos for cheap now!

From Ref’s pas de deux with the New York City Ballet. Tutu not included.

These remind me a pair of Magda Butrym sandals thanks to the rosettes.

Much sexier than Dr. Scholl’s.

A suitable heel for the office — and easy to slip off underneath your desk when your boss turns their back.
